So I was watching TV in the living room and my mom came in. It was I Love The 80s and they were talking about Fame, the movie. And my mom was like, "Is this Fame?" And I was like "Yes, Ibu." So she sat down with her tortilla chips and watched it with me for like an hour. Afterwards she was like "I don't think that was Fame," and walks away.
....
Dude, they talked about Fame for like a minute and then moved on to like the Pepsi Challenge. I don't know why it took her an hour to realize we weren't watching an actual episode of Fame.
And she doesn't understand that The Daily Show isn't a serious news show.
Apparently they don't have sarcasm in Indonesia.

So, I didn't get into MIT, Cornell, or UPenn. But I did get into NYU and CalBerkeley. And I was wait-listed at Georgetown which was my number #2, after MIT. This is going to be a hard decision...
Today was opening night for the musical. It went really well, if you haven't seen it yet come tomorrow or Saturday.
I'm hanging out with Mr. Sears tomorrow... We'll see how that goes.
This week was so stressful - I had labs for Bio and Physics and tests in Math, Physics, and History. But hopefully this weekend will be amazing. :)

Got into Delaware, Maryland, and American. Plus they all invited me to their Honors Program and I got $22,000 from American and $5,000 from Delaware. Holllerr. :) It cushions the rejections I'm going to get a little.
I'm so behind in school work, but other than that, life's been pretty sweet. I love spring.

I got into Maryland!
Plus I got invited to the Honors Program, which I didn't even apply for. It wasn't my top school or anything, but it's so nice to know that I don't have to work at Sears my whole life.
Speaking of Sears, ugh, boys can be so confusing. =/
One more thing. I love this.

So I know all these people are hearing back from the colleges that they applied to already, but I just pressed submit. On my last application. Ever. Or, ever, until law school.
It's so nice to have it over with, but it makes me more nervous than ever.

Dude, Grease Reauditions. Doubleyou-tee-eff. I guess I'm in a pretty good position because I have little to lose, but I'd be salty if I had a lead role and it got taken away. I guess we'll have to wait until January to see how it all goes down.
Christmas break is only a couple days away! <333

Put the first sentence of your first post for each month of 2006!
January: Sometimes I get a small, false hope into my head and I start to imagine what sort of things would happen if it were to come true, and eventually in my mind it becomes true.
February: You know that feeling that you get just after you've cried?
March: I don't deal well with failure.
April: None!
May: OK, so at my training they gave me this folder with happy, jumping people on it.
June: Sometimes, I just have to close my eyes to stop the world from spinning around me.
July: The summer's all in bloom, the summer's ending soon...
August: So, you know what I hate?
September: Who came up with waffles?
October: Did you know that pyruvate needs to be converted to acetyl-coA before the Krebs cycle can begin? (HAHALAME)
November: Top 10 Names For Gay Bars in Cold Climates
December: My mouth is sticky from candy canes and I have chocolate under my fingernails.
Yeah, I'm pretty cool.
And just a quote that I liked from June: "It's all going by so fast, and I know pretty soon we'll be middle-aged and looking back on the best years of our life."
